Yipppppeeee!

Hey everyone!!! Guess what?! We were approved for our loan and sooooooo, we are going to be building a house this year!!!! We just found out yesterday at the housing meeting and i just about jumped out of my skin! The exciting part is that the house we are building is going to have a full basement and we will have a third of an acre. wow! what a good start eh? Anyway, we are really excited, as would be expected.
We also have been having a great time with Simon's parents. Last week was a bit busy but full of fun, we were in Vegas then went to St. George and stayed with Grams for a few days, of course making a detour to Zion National Park, it was a big hit! This week we are just hanging out and relaxing. so nice. I will post some pictures today, but just wanted to post the news. yeah! Love you all and hope you are all well. P.S Micah, your video is awesome and I am really excited that you were accepted into that cook off thing, nice one. Of course you would have made it in, you are freakin fantastic. :) Hey, did Jessica get chosen for that Folger's coffee jingle? Anyway, thats all for now.

So, this is the first post of the family blog. I hope you all will join in. I just want to say that i thought this would be a fun way to keep in touch, share pictures of what is going on and just enjoy each other even though we can't see each other all the time.

Here in Rexburg, we are gearing up for my graduation!!! Yeah. Saturday is the day and I cannot wait. It has been a long road, but such a great one I have learned so much! I am still working on illustrating the children's book and will be able to really focus on it now that school is over. I am also now working at the art museum in Idaho Falls and am going to start teaching a mommy and me class. If that goes well, than they are going to hire me on for part-time teaching. So, far helping out there has been a great experience. Simon is working still at Melaleuca and we are waiting to hear about a loan to get a mortgage and hopefully begin building our own house this summer! yeah. I can't wait to decorate. :) Kaitlynn is growing up so fast, although she is still a little squirt. :) She just hit the 16.5 pounds mark and is now in the 10th percentile in the range of kids. Ha, but this little muffin eats like a horse, you would be amazed. She also loves bath time and being in the water, swimming is something she really loves to do. Big shocker. lol. Anyway, i will post again soon with more fun adventures since Si's paren'ts are coming over on Wednesday from the UK! yeah. vacation time will be fun. Love you all and enjoy.
